ENG vs IND | Twitter in disbelief as Nitish shoulders arms to embarrass himself on maiden England outing

There are only two types of leaves in cricket -- good leaves and bad leaves. Nitish Kumar Reddy might as well be made an ambassador of the latter kind following his antics on Day 1 at Edgbaston where he simply allowed an inducker to kiss the top of offstump and send him packing on his England debut.
India went from cruising to panic within 10 deliveries after Tea on Day 1 in Birmingham as two quick wickets left them reeling at 211/5 having headed into the break at 182/3. Rishabh Pant was the first to depart after trying to take Shoaib Bashir downtown over long-on, only to find Zak Crawley waiting in the deep. The alarm bells had barely stopped ringing in the Indian dressing room following the unprovoked dismissal when the warning began to beam louder, courtesy Nitish Kumar Reddy's departure in even more absurd fashion.
The all-rounder was up against Chris Woakes, just a few overs after England had managed to get themselves a ball change, and had faced five deliveries for a solitary run. Thus, when the right-arm seamer delivered a length ball well outside off, Nitish was more than content letting it pass safely through to the wicket-keeper. Yet, to his horror, the Dukes ducked in significantly after pitching and even though a slight twitch in Nitish's movement betrayed his intention to bring the bat down, the youngster ultimately ended up shouldering arms and saw the red cherry crash into the off-stump.
The entire England team was ecstatic while Nitish walked off distraught, aptly reflecting Twitterati's sentiments.

He came, scored 1 run, and went back at the speed of 5G.
Leave that goes into books!
Was it Wokes' brilliant bowling or Nitish Reddy's masterclass in leaving the ball? Can't decide. 🤯
