VIDEO | Kane Williamson and Colin Munro make mockery of Windies fielding to run Four runs on one ball

Well, it is not a secret anymore that Windies are one of the weakest, if not the weakest, fielding sides but what they did today was beyond the realms of fantasy. Although Evin Lewis managed to save the ball from going for a four, Kane Williamson and Colin Munro ran four runs between the wickets.

Windies got off to a dream start today with Sheldon Cottrell dismissing Martin Guptill on the very first delivery of the ball and the salute celebration followed just after that. However, that was not the moment which gave the most drama, rather the delivery followed after that was the major contributor to be the moment of the day.

On the second delivery of the first over, Williamson drove Cottrell on the up and given there was no fielder inside the ring for the short mid-off position, it was well on course to go for a four. However, the Old Trafford outfield was surprisingly slow but funnily, Carlos Brathwaite, who was chasing the ball, was even slower. He made a royal mess up it and the failure to keep with the pace of the ball resulted in the Caribbean all-rounder diving a bit too early and ended up making a mockery of himself.

Evin Lewis was the other fielder chasing the ball and by the time, he could reach the ball and save it from going for the boundary, the duo of Williamson and Munro had already run four runs. How many times do we see such an instance?
